A set in a present day, but somewhat fantastic, world. A set of individual stories linked by a few people and places. I enjoyed bits of this but lost the plot in a few places as well.

A growing-up story for a teenage boy. It bumbled along through a year or so of his life. There were several routes I thought it might take but it didn't. An enjoyable enough read.

A number of stories are told each interrupting the last. Sometimes literally in the middle of a sentence. It stars as historical and moves forward with each story until it becomes science fiction. Finally it unravels itself back to the beginning. Watch for the links between the stories.
