108 Insights into Tai Chi Chuan, Michael Gilman
I don't think I get the depths of Tai Chi. This had lots of "insights". Aside from that Tai Chi is mellow and I'd recommend anyone who's interested give it a go.

12:01I really like films that play about with time, Groundhog Day is one of my favourite films and the obvious one to compare it to. In this film the explanation is part of the plot. It's less serious and definitely has some funny moments. Not as fulfilling but something you can still enjoy.
28 Days LaterThis film has an excellent beginning; the silence in a deserted London is overpowering. High speed zombies gives it a very different danger from most zombie movies. It's an interesting change. Found myself caring a lot more about these people than in most horror movies. On my first viewing I found the second half of this film, dealing with the surviving soldiers, far more disturbing than any of the horror.
The 85 Ways To Tie A Tie, Thomas Fink & Yong MaoOver the years people have come up with a variety of ways to tie a tie. Many turn out to be mathematically identical. Finally these guys decided to find out all the ways a tie could be tied.
Abhorsen, Garth NixCompleting the trilogy started with Sabriel. It brought together characters from the first and second books but didn't have anything new. Not bad just not as good as the first two.
Across The Wall, Garth NixA reasonable collection of fantasy short stories. It only has one from the universe of the wall.
The Adventures of Baron MunchausenThis is a magnificent film, one of the best by Gilliam's best, and one of my favourites. It deals with the fantastic life and tales of Baron Munchausen and the siege of an unnamed European city. In a rational world the Baron is not happy and not welcome. We have great performances and wonderfully rich sets. Fact and fiction blend together until nobody knows what is going on. I love the Baron's servants, with their incredible abilities, and the Baron, with his impossible ones.
The Age of Reason, Thomas PaineHaving not read the bible myself it was interesting to see an analysis of it's details. Here you can find out about the horrors it describes and the inconsistancies it's full of. Strangely, despite his disagreements with the bible he still believes in God.
AkiraSome films stand out from the crowd and Akira is one of these. Its animation shows fantastic attention to detail and its soundtrack roars along with the motorcycles. While the plot might not actually makes sense it is stylish and mysterious. Watch out for the psychics, the film gives a powerful sense of how dangerous their abilities really are.
Al ZagrosWith Kurdish food, or at least Kurdish food that I had, flavours are kept seperate rather than blended together. Barbecued meat, grilled tomatoes, a salad, and delicately flavoured rice were all simple and singular but well balanced. Starters and main courses were served with nice flat bread. I ate both the cucumber and olives in my starter which, for me, is remarkable.
